A good funeral is more personalised, flexible and reflective of a person’s values and lifestyle.
We work with all funeral directors throughout the Liverpool City Region, and across the broader area of the Diocese of Liverpool. You can contact us directly if you would like us to look after the service for your loved one, or if you have already instructed a funeral director to care for your loved one, you can still contact us to conduct the service. You can also contact us to talk about what you would like at your funeral service. We can discuss in person your wishes which will be a great help and support to leave for those who will be arranging your own funeral when the time comes.
A good funeral is more personalised, flexible and reflective of a person’s values and lifestyle. It is shaped less by convention and more by what feels meaningful to the family and community involved. While you can still include elements of religion and culture within the service, we also encourage you to be creative, and to use more secular music and poetry to fully reflect the life of your loved one.
We understand that it can be really difficult to talk about your loved one. When they visit you, your celebrant will work with you on writing tributes and stories of your loved one’s life as well as delivering them at the service should you wish them to. Your celebrant will have resources available for you to look through. Things like poems, readings or even music choices, they will also share with you ideas of an order of service so that you can understand how the service will look.
Our fee for a funeral at your chosen venue is £250
(An extra charge may apply for services and visits conducted outside of the boundaries of the Diocese of Liverpool)
One of our team will contact you within 24 hours of a booking being taken
Your celebrant will take the time to listen to what you and your family would like, and then write a bespoke service which reflects the character of your loved one, allowing you to truly celebrate their life.
A face to face meeting at a time and place that is convenient for you
We offer prayers with your loved one, and other members of the family, either at home, or in the chapel of rest.
Unlimited support from your celebrant throughout the funeral planning process – this includes phone calls, email and extra face to face meetings if required.
Your celebrant will meet you at the venue on the day, making sure everything is as you would like it to be.
Honest and impartial advice and guidance on options.
Support after the funeral, including invitations to our memorial services.
