Giving families the opportunity to honour loved ones and support one another
Our celebrants are also available to be there for anniversary celebrations, for scattering of ashes, and blessing of graves, for birthdays, mothers day and fathers day.
Some families will hold a memorial service weeks or months later, instead of immediately after the death of a loved one. This is a good option for families whose loved one has chosen a direct cremation.
Our package for this includes but is not limited to:
A face to face meeting at a time and place that is convenient for you
Unlimited support from your celebrant throughout the planning process – this includes phone calls, email and extra face to face meetings if required.
Honest and impartial advice and guidance on options.
Your celebrant will take the time to listen to what you and your family would like, and then write a bespoke service which reflects the character of your loved one, allowing you to truly celebrate their life.
Your celebrant will meet you at the venue on the day, making sure everything is as you would like it to be.
Support after the service, including invitations to our public memorial services.
We hold public memorial services three times throughout the year at Liverpool Cathedral, and invite all of the families that we have had the honour of helping to come and join us.
These services are open to anybody, even if we have not helped you by taking the service of your loved one.

During the service we read aloud the names of those we are there to remember, we light candles and hang messages on our memory trees. One of the services, held in November, is specifically for families who have sadly lost babies and children.
November 19th at 7pm
(Forever young service for babies and children)
December 8th at 7pm
All of our services are held in the Lady Chapel at Liverpool Cathedral. There is a large car park, with access from Upper Duke street. Parking charges apply for all services.
We also hold memorial services at Anfield Crematorium every Mother’s day and Father’s day in partnership with Liverpool City Council. Our team is there from 12 until 2 to offer hospitality and welcome, a chance to write a tag for the memorial tree, and have your loved ones name read out in a short service at 1pm.
